PARAPARAUMU ROTARY ART SHOW

The 17th Art Show took place over Labour Weekend 2019 at the Southwards Car Museum Paraparaumu.

The major sponsor was Newstalk ZB.

The beneficiary of the 2019 Art Show was the Kapiti Performing Arts Centre.

Prize Sponsors receive publicity in the Show Catalogue and free tickets to the official opening and preview evening.

Each year 300 to 400 paintings enter this prestigious show. A range of valuable prizes are awarded by a well qualified judge for various categories.

All paintings on display are for sale and the commission retained by Rotary is lower than that charged by most art galleries.

The beneficiary of the 2018 and 2019 Art Shows was the Kapiti Performing Arts Centre Building Fund.

The Beneficiary of the 2017 Art show was a $10,000 pledge to the New Mahara Gallery Building Fund to enable the Field Collection of paintings to remain in Kapiti.

The beneficiary of the 2016 show was the Kāpiti Performing Arts Centre. A $30,000 donation was made to KPAC on the opening night of the 2016 Art Show and a subsequent donation of $10,000
